Disturbo

A still photograph, held in perfect calm until the room is heard. Open the microphone and the image begins to answer the air: channels split, bands slip sideways, noise crawls across the surface. The louder — and the longer — the din holds, the deeper the corruption charges, easing only when the room falls quiet. Nothing of the sound is kept unless you record; then the room's own audio is sealed inside the clip you carry away.
